CBD is simply an acronym for “Cannabidiol” (Can-a-bid-i-ol), which is a prominent naturally occurring class of molecules called “Cannabinoids”, which are found in the plant genus, “Cannabis Sativa L.”
CBD comprises up to 40% of the plant and is one of over 60 plus compounds found in cannabis. Of these compounds, CBD and THC are usually present in the highest concentrations, and are therefore the most recognized and studied.
CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the plant that possesses a wide range of benefits and does not cause a high, unlike THC. Our bodies are made up of an Endocannabinoid System and use cannabinoids to maintain healthy cells.
“The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors located in the mammalian brain and throughout the main and peripheral nervous systems, including neuromodulatory lipids and their receptors.” Wikipedia.
There are 2 primary kinds of receptors in the ECS, CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are mainly found in the main nerve system and brains of mammals, and CB2 are normally found in the peripheral anxious system. There are two main cannabinoids mammals produce; 2AG and Anandamide (called after the Sanskrit term “ananda” which translates to “peace”).
Vertebrate on Earth have actually been equipped with this ECS, a vital system in the body, and it has been learnt about in the clinical and medical communities since the 1980’s. However, it’s still not taught about in most medical school, or even public high school, for that matter… We aren’t sure why, because of its massive importance to our overall body & mental health.
Our CBD Oil is an oil concentrate derived from Industrial Hemp Plants ONLY, not Marijuana plants, grown in the Northwestern United States, that have high levels of cannabidiol (CBD), while having low levels of THC, and MCT (Coconut) Oil as the carrier.
These extracts can then be used in paste form, or mixed with other oils such as hemp seed oil, to lower the viscosity of the extract. The cannabidiol (CBD) content of CBD oil varies tremendously, since the manufacturers use a varying assortment of cannabis plants and preparation techniques.
However, here at White Wolf CBD, we can ensure that all of our products, from entering the manufacturing plant, to shipping your bottle, has been tested at a minimum of 5 times, from plant, to finished product, to guarantee quality and consistency for you.
White Wolf CBD oils have less than 0.3% THC (Federal Legal Limit). In fact, our Broad Spectrum Tinctures are less than 0.03% THC, 10 times below Federal Legal Limit, meaning each dose is less than 0.03%.
Yes! The CBD that we sell is derived from Industrial Hemp, grown in Northwestern United States, where the crops are grown free of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and any other destructive/harmful chemicals. Our quality starts with the plants, which are hand selected before even being planted.
When the Hemp is harvested, it is tested before it even enters the manufacturer. As the plants go through the manufacturer journey, the plants are tested a minimum of FOUR additional times to ensure accuracy in potency, cleanliness, as well as ensure our oil is free of herbicides, pesticides, heavy metals, mold, as well as cannabinoid levels.
The oil is extracted with a CO2 method, from the very air we breathe, instead of harsh solvents such as alcohol. CO2 is a much healthier choice. Lastly, the FDA has labeled CO2 extraction as a “generally regarded as safe” (GRAS) method.
In summary, the CBD Products you get from us were hand picked for quality & potency, grown without chemicals (100% Naturally Grown), tested (at a minimum) 5 times, and extracted with CO2. Our CBD is free of Chemicals, Heavy Metals, Molds, and of High Potency.
Truth be told, scientifically speaking, industrial Hemp and Marijuana are the exact same plant, with a genus and species name of Cannabis Sativa. However, thanks to breeding and strain focus, the hereditary differences between the two are quite profound.
Industrial Hemp is, and regulated federally, as a strain of Cannabis sativa, while marijuana can be Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, or Cannabis ruderalis.
The significant distinction is in how the Industrial Hemp plants have actually been reproduced compared to a marijuana form of Cannabis sativa. Generally speaking, industrial hemp is really fibrous, with long strong stalks, and hardly has any flowering buds, while a marijuana plants of Cannabis sativa will be smaller sized, bushier, and filled with blooming buds.
However, more recent industrial hemp ranges in the USA are being bred to have more flowers and greater yields of cannabinoids and terpenes, such as our Northwestern American grown hemp we’re using in our products!
Marijuana almost always has a high amount of THC and a really low quantity of CBD, or cannabinoid count. Hemp, on the other hand, naturally has a really high quantity of CBD in many circumstances, and only a trace amount of THC. The federal legal limit for Industrial Hemp and Hemp-based products is 0.3% dry-weight.
Thankfully, the cannabinoid profile of hemp is ideal for people trying to take advantage of cannabis without the ‘high.’ Hemp is utilized for making organic supplements, food, fiber, rope, paper, bricks, oil, natural plastic, and so a lot more, whereas cannabis, or “Marijuana”, is generally used for recreational, spiritual, and medicinal purposes.
In the USA the legal definition of Industrial Hemp,” per Section 7606 of the Agricultural Appropriations Act of 2014, is “INDUSTRIAL HEMP– The term “industrial hemp” indicates the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”
All of our products are produced from our locally grown, here in beautiful Oregon & Washington, in the Great Northwest of the United States. Our plants are hand selected for breeding, so our Industrial Hemp is not only of the highest CBD Content, but also the purest of all heavy metals, chemicals, and bacteria. All benefits of a fully healthy plant and product, no “high”, and no worries of harmful additives!
Under the 2014 Farm Bill, any Industrial Hemp or Industrial Hemp products that has less than 0.3% THC by dry weight is federally legal in all 50 states.
Our products strictly comply within these guidelines, and are actually 10 times below the federal legal limit, as our consumer-ready products are less than 0.03% THC and THC-Free. We cannot and do not sell anything that is not federally legal and compliant to the 2014 Farm Bill (included below), and the 2018 Farm Bill, which expands the 2014 Farm Bill provisions in relation and availability of Industrial Hemp based products.
Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2015
Amends the Controlled Substances Act to exclude industrial hemp from the definition of “marihuana.” Defines “industrial hemp” to mean the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-nine tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis. Deems Cannabis sativa L. to meet that concentration limit if a person grows or processes it for purposes of making industrial hemp in accordance with state law, unless the Attorney General determines that the state law is not reasonably calculated to comply with such definition.

Our CBD is manufactured through CO2 extraction. Basically, Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is used to pull out the CBD oil and other phytochemicals, without the dangerous or harmful solvents.
Some CBD companies use alcohol, butane, or propane to pull out the CBD oil… NOT GOOD! Be very careful of buying from companies who do this!
After the oil has been extracted, they are turned into a Broad Spectrum Oil, which includes more of the natural plant, terpenes, phytochemicals, and a minimal amount of THC (Less than 0.03% to be exact). From there, the CBD is completely isolated for the purest and highest concentrate of CBD Isolate powder possible.
That isolate and Broad Spectrum Concentrate is then mixed together to create the highest quality CBD oils, free of any dangerous solvents or residuals from the extraction, and free of heavy metals, chemicals, and even bacteria.
Our CBD is tested at a minimum of 5 times for purity, quality, and quantity of cannabinoids throughout the manufacturing process, and tested by 3rd party testing companies on the finished products to ensure our highest quality product stays true to our users.
Oregon State accredited testing companies are used to test for Heavy Metals, Bacteria, Chemicals, and CBD Quantities in the base CBD Concentrate products. That way, when they are combined, we are confident that the product ready for shipping is of the highest quality.

The Hemp Oil in our products contain high amounts of CBD which is a LEGAL cannabinoid from Industrial Hemp, and tiny trace amounts of THC.
Our Broad Spectrum CBD Oils contain trace amounts (parts per BILLION) of THC that COULD potentially show up in a drug screen, though not likely.
However, White Wolf cannot guarantee that you will or will not pass a drug screen due to the amount of variables in the actual tests. Our products contain less than 0.3% THC (Less than 0.03% to be exact). Drug screens vary and some can be more sensitive than others. Because of this, if you have to take a drug test, we recommend that you do not use our products.
For best shelf life, be sure to store your CBD Oils and/or Balms in a dry, cool, dark place. In a refrigerator or a cool, dark shelf in the pantry would be great.
Don’t allow the products to sit in direct sunlight.
Properly stored and contained CBD products have up to a 1-year shelf life! (Though we are sure you’ll love it so much, you’ll be needing more long before that year is up.)
Absolutely NOT. Our CBD products are made from Industrial Hemp Extract, which has trace amounts (0.03% or less) THC. There is ZERO chance of any psychoactive effects from using our products.
NOTE: Please don’t drink the oil to get “high”… It won’t work.
More often than not, “Hemp Oil” products in stores and on Amazon are most often made from hemp seed oil, which contains very minimal, trace amounts of CBD. Essentially, they are grape seed oil, only from hemp seeds.
While hemp seed oil can be great for added nutrition in cooking, its trace amount of CBD per milligram makes it completely unfeasible as a CBD supplement source.
Our Broad Spectrum CBD Oil, however, is extracted from hand selected Industrial Hemp, naturally grown, specifically for the purpose of high-amounts of CBD. Our CBD Oil not only has the amount it promises per MG bottle, but you also get other benefits from the additional phytochemicals and nutrients of the original hemp plant.
When you use White Wolf CBD, you know you get the highest quality CBD on the market, unlike a lot of “wanna-be” “Hemp Oil” companies that are selling low CBD lies. Don’t buy the lies…
For more education on our products, CBD, the CBD Market, and finding quality products instead of “fad brands”, be sure to read our Blog Here.
Definitely NOT! “Hemp Seed Oil”, which can usually be bought in supermarkets or online inexpensively, are simply cold-pressed oils from Hemp Seeds, which are not the matured plant with full CBD development and quantity. They also vary greatly in quality, which leaves their consumers at risk to heavy metals, low CBD quantity, additives, chemicals, and bacteria. We just recommend you throw away any “Hemp Seed Oil” you may have, unless it is a cooking-grade oil, then by all means, cook with it. Just don’t expect it to be a CBD supplement by any means, as they try to claim.
Our CBD Concentrate oils are CO2 extracted from a specifically bred strain of Industrial Hemp for high-CBD quantities and purity. When you buy our CBD Products, you can check our 3rd Party COA Test Results and rest assured that you get the amount and quality of CBD Product that you pay for. We claim to be the Alpha of High-Quality CBD, because… Well, we are, and we can prove it.
We sell two types of CBD Products: Tinctures (Oils) and Balms (Paste).
For the Tinctures (Oils), they are to be taken sublingually (under the tongue), and held under the tongue for 60 to 90 seconds before being swallowed. It is also recommended to wait 15 minutes before eating or drinking to allow the CBD to fully absorb.
For the Balms, we recommend that you apply a generous amount (avoid eyes, nose, mouth, and sensitive parts), and rub in for a minimum of 3 minutes.
For both Tinctures and Balms, allow 30 to 45 minutes to feel effects. Slowly increase dosage as needed to reach desired effect.
